On 5 th March, our premier Wen jiabao make a government work report at the second session of the Eleventh National people’s congress, he said that resource prices reformation will be advanced; continue to deepen the electricity price reformation; and improve the distributing and sale of electricity price formation mechanism gradually; strike a balance between the coal and electricity’s price; Tt is the first time to point that in the gavernment report.

To this, some experts hold the opinion that since the electricity price reformation is clearly pointed in the government work report and be placed on the reformation target at the year of 2009,it means that the State Council is really paying unprecedented attantion to the problem of electricity price reformation, it also shows that electricity price reformation is urgent under the situation that the contradiction between coal and electricity is unprecedented intense and it lead the power industry to suffering a serious loss. Electricity price need to reform urgently, and the power unit will be a new invest item.
